What documents do I need for cashless admission?
You need your insurance card (or policy number), a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, passport), and the doctor's referral/prescription if it's a planned admission. For emergencies, documents can be submitted after stabilization.
How long does pre-authorization take?
For planned admissions, pre-authorization is typically received within 2–4 hours. For emergency admissions, we initiate the process immediately and keep you updated. Our team follows up proactively with the TPA.
What if my insurer is not on your panel?
If your insurer is not empanelled for cashless, you can still receive treatment and we will provide all documentation — bills, discharge summary, prescriptions — to support your reimbursement claim with your insurer.
Are OPD consultations covered under cashless?
Cashless facility at Jeevak is primarily for inpatient (IPD) admissions. OPD consultations may be covered under certain policies with OPD riders — please check with your insurer. We can provide official receipts for reimbursement.
How does Ayushman Bharat / PMJAY work at Jeevak?
If you have a valid Ayushman Bharat card (PM-JAY), eligible treatment is completely free of cost. Our team will verify your eligibility using the national portal and process your admission under the scheme with no charges to you.

To ensure your claim is processed without delays, please keep the following documents ready: Original discharge summary, all original bills and receipts, investigation reports (blood tests, ECG, X-rays), prescription slips, and a cancelled cheque (for reimbursement claims).
